Amazing rural tourism experience. They are an example of entrepreneurship and community. Food is outstanding. We got there walking, an easy 2.5 hours hike and we left by canoe, which was the highlight, highly recommended.

Visiting STIBRAWPA is a beautiful experience. Their work as an association is inspiring and the whole experience is quite professionally managed by the locals. You'll get to ride the Sixaola and Yorkin rivers, see how cacao is made, and do many activities with the friendliest people. If you are Costa Rican you'll get a new appreciation for indigenous people and knowledge you hardly get somewhere else.

A wonderful place and an admirable initiative, I’m more than impressed. We spent two beautiful days in nature with very interesting conversations. The food was delicious, the stay over very comfortable. We will definitely come again.

The nicest people, really. Something good emanates from the place. Worth going there. For those travelling independently, as of july 21’ you get a bus from Bribri to Bambu, in front of the pulperia, after having agreed beforehand on a pickup time since there’s no signal in Bambu. There should be one leaving Bambu at 9:30, and coming back at 14:30. To be verified in real time, of course.
